Our own Dr. Graham Lee addresses concerns about anesthesia and opioid safety on Live 5 News. Dr. Lee highlights the extensive training in anesthesia that each oral surgeon at Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery completes, adding that surgical techs are also trained in anesthesia.
Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery is proud to add Dr. Lee to our team of talented, highly-trained surgeons. Dr. Lee, a Greenville, SC native, graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina at the top of his class and after receiving his dental degree, went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at MUSC.
On June 1st, 2017, Charleston Oral And Facial Surgery provided a continuing education course to the dental community covering OSHA & HIPAA topics. Patterson Dental and Hu-Friedy co-sponsored the event.
On May 11th, we held a social event for graduating College of Dental Medicine students at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to congratulate them on their completion of school and to welcome them to the dental community! We had a great time getting to meet some of the students and learning about their future plans. Good luck to all of you!
On May 20th, 2017 Charleston Oral And Facial Surgery held a Wine & Design Girl’s Night Out Event with some of our friends in the Summerville dental community. They enjoyed wine and appetizers and put their painting skills to the test with their co-workers. We hope everyone who attended had a great time and we expect to see the paintings hanging in your offices when we stop by to visit! 😉
Our own Dr. Edward Strauss breaks down oral surgery on Live 5 News. He explained the most common procedures, such as general extractions, wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, facial trauma and facial aesthetics. Dr. Strauss also explains that in addition to receiving a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, oral surgeons also complete a four-to-six year residency program focused on oral and maxillofacial surgery. The Surgeons at Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery stand behind their work, and guarantee dental implants for life.
Our own Dr. Aaron Sarathy talks with WCSC Live 5 News about dental implants. If you’re missing one or more teeth, dental implants can help build a new foundation for a healthy, new smile. Dental implants are a great option for most patients with missing teeth, and, in most cases, the recovery is minimal with very little down time.
At Charleston Oral And Facial Surgery, all of our surgeons are board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. You might be wondering, why is this important or how does this benefit patients? Well, let’s dig a little deeper!
