On June 1st, 2017, Charleston Oral And Facial Surgery provided a continuing education (CE) event to the dental community covering OSHA & HIPAA topics.
Patterson Dental and Hu-Friedy co-sponsored the event. It was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in North Charleston, SC. The speaker was Olivia Wann, who has been serving the compliance needs of dental professionals since the year 1999 when she founded Modern Practice Solutions. She graduated from the Nashville School of Law with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Management from St. Joseph’s College and attended Tennessee Technology as a registered dental assistant. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Organization for Safety, Asepsis & Prevention, and past president of the Stewart County Chamber of Commerce. We’d like to thank her for speaking about OSHA and HIPAA at our CE event! We all greatly enjoyed her lecture. We’d also like to thank everyone who attended and we hope you all had a great time!
